We are pleased to report that the FoBBS exhibit at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), Chelsea Flower Show 2024, was once again awarded a Gold Medal in the Floral Category. The RHS judges voted to award the maximum twelve points. This is excellent and full marks in each category. The categories include: Plants, Overall impression and Endeavour.

This is down to the hard work and planning over the year by The Bonsai Boys, a member Society based to the west of London.

Planning the exhibit includes sourcing a wide variety of Bonsai that are both diverse in species, structure and colour. This makes the display eye catching and interesting for the viewer.

Talking to the public and giving Bonsai advice is one of the most important roles we have when exhibiting, then encouraging people to join a local FoBBS to learn more.

Thank you to the 2024 Chelsea Standminders and those who assisted and loaned Bonsai trees to make a memorable event enjoyable.
