Collection - No 7History of this Cedrus atlantica(Blue Atlas cedar)As a bonsai, this variety of cedar proves vigorous with regards to its foliage mass and requires regular trimming, usually two to three times a year. In 2017, a major thinning out of branches and in particular the apical growth was necessary, some 40% of the foliage mass being removed in order to retain the shape. During the same period, by contrast, the root system has needed very little attention.
